Charli Cohen’s Graduate Fashion Week Debut in June 2012 saw the young London designer shortlisted for the GFW Womenswear Award, George Gold Award and later that same year, the pretigious Lycra Future Designers Award at the WGSN Global Fashion Awards and the Vauxhall Fashion Scout Merit Award.
This high-concept collection delves deep into the misunderstood world of the female powerlifter, featuring ergonomic shaping, anatomic panels, unexpected hardware and eco-friendly technical fabrics. Combining statement design, performance-driven function and environmental awareness, the collection is inspired by these Amazonian athletes’ strength, savvy and ultimate dedication to their sport.
