For today’s episode we talk to Alison Lowe. Alison was awarded an MBE for Services to the Fashion Industry in HRH The Queen’s Birthday Honours 2017, as one of the Maserati 100 for 2016 for the support she gives the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Alison has built a reputation as one of the leading supporters of emerging fashion talent. She is renowned for her practical, realistic approach to running a creative business and is constantly in demand to share her knowledge and advice, which has led her to writing her new book, How to Start Your Own Fashion Label – the Definitive Guide, which is available on Amazon. She acts as a consultant to brands across the globe from start-ups to established fashion businesses, supporting fashion brands, retailers, manufacturers and training providers. Alison is a serial entrepreneur and has founded two fashion agencies, Felicities and Start Your Own Fashion Label.
Alongside her businesses, Alison is active in supporting next generation entrepreneurs. She mentors entrepreneurs and business leaders, teaches on business courses at leading international colleges and is a regular guest speaker at global conferences, events and universities.
